Privacy Policy for Chrome

Chrome - Cyberpunk TCG Tracker is an independent collection companion developed by Nicolò Campagnoli. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Overview

Chrome does not require a developer account and does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Your collection and scanner images are not sent to a developer-operated server. The app connects to external services for card data, images, prices, Apple purchases, and optional iCloud sync, as described below.

Information on Your Device

The app stores your owned cards and quantities, wishlist, binders, decks, preferences, and game-tool state on your device. It also stores downloaded card and price data, local scan and virtual-pack allowance counters, and information needed to manage review prompts and synchronization. These records support the app's features; the usage counters are not sent to the developer as analytics.

Camera and Selected Photos

The scanner uses the camera with your permission. You may also select a photo through Apple's photo picker. Card text recognition and matching run on your device using Apple's Vision framework and the card catalog. Camera frames and selected scanner photos are processed locally and are not uploaded to the developer, a marketplace, or a cloud recognition service. The scanner does not save a permanent photo history. Adding a recognized card stores its identifier and collection quantity, not the camera image.

You can change camera permission in your device's Settings. The photo picker gives the app access to the images you select, rather than unrestricted access to your photo library.

Optional iCloud Sync

When iCloud sync is available in your version of the app and you enable it, collection entries, wishlist items, binders, decks, and synchronization metadata are stored in your private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. This allows your devices to exchange changes. Chrome does not give the developer access to that private database. Apple processes iCloud information under its privacy policy.

Turning sync off stops future synchronization; it does not erase existing local or iCloud data. Device backups may also include app data, depending on your Apple backup settings.

Card Data, Images, and Prices

The app downloads catalog data from Netdeck.gg, Cardmarket product and price feeds, and TCGplayer price data through TCGCSV. Card artwork is downloaded from the image hosts specified by the catalog. Downloads may occur automatically when data needs refreshing or when you view a card.

These services and their hosting providers receive information needed to serve network requests, such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, and standard connection metadata. A card-image URL may identify the printing being displayed. Your collection quantities, binder and deck contents, and scanner photos are not included in catalog or price-feed requests.

If you open a marketplace listing, card search, official rules, or another external link, that website receives the request and any card name or product identifier included in the link. Its own privacy policy applies to your visit and any information you submit there.

Chrome Pro Subscriptions

Apple processes subscriptions through the App Store. Chrome uses StoreKit to verify purchases, determine Pro access, and restore subscriptions. The app receives purchase and entitlement information, such as the product, transaction status, and expiration date. The developer does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple may provide developers with sales reports and diagnostics under its services and your sharing settings.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Backups and Sharing

When you export a collection backup, deck image, or other file, you choose where it is saved or shared using Apple's system controls. Backups may contain your collection, wishlist, decks, and binders. The receiving app or storage service handles the exported file under its own policy. The developer does not automatically receive a copy. Importing a backup reads the file you select to restore app data.

Retention and Your Choices

App records remain on your device until you change or remove them, or delete the app and its local data. Offloading the app can retain its documents. Changes made while iCloud sync is enabled can synchronize to other devices; synchronization records, including deletion markers, may remain to keep devices consistent. Removing the app does not automatically erase iCloud copies or exported backups. Manage those separately through your iCloud storage settings and the locations where you saved them.

You can export your collection backup in Settings. Canceling Pro does not delete your saved collection, binders, or decks. The developer cannot recover or directly erase data held only on your device or in your private iCloud database.

Support and Privacy Requests

If you email the developer, your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send are received and used to respond to your request. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the request and applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can contact the developer to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided, or to ask about other privacy rights that apply to you.
